In the gentle, tranquil light, at a villa with its own bath, I want you all to myself for a day. The main building has 12 kinds of baths and 3 kinds of saunas (a large stadium sauna, a meditation sauna and a salt sauna). In the adjoining villas, a completely private space, you can enjoy private baths (kashikiri) named after poems from the Hyakunin Isshu, as well as the only cypress bath with a private hot stone bath (ganban'yoku) in Ibaraki Prefecture. Handmade meals by chefs committed to home-grown, locally eaten ingredients are served too.

Reservations

Advance reservation is recommended for the villas (private use). They are not strictly by reservation only and can be used on the day if one is free. With the Long Stay Plan there is no time limit within the opening hours of the villas (10:00–23:00).

How to book

Online booking through the dedicated reservation form (until 18:00 the day before), or by phone. Same-day reservations are taken by phone or in person. Reservations by email are not accepted.
